A charge of murder has been laid against Mrs Guy Wallace, the wife of a wholly disabled gassed invalid war veteran, who placed her five children on a log and sent it afloat in the river. Three were drowned and two were saved. After the deed the mother told a priest that her husband v(as no good and she wanted to relieve him of family worries.
