The London market for frozen lamb is very firm with prices again better, according to the weekly cabled report received by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board. Consumption continues to be good. Wether mutton is meeting with a little better demand, but trade in ewe mutton is slow, with prices easier. Trade on the beef market is poor owing to the low prices for Argentine chilled beef. The market for New Zealand porker pig;s is dull, with poor trade. The market for baconers is steady and unchanged.
