DRUIDS AT WAKEFIELD

TRAFALGAR LODGE Tiie fortnightly meeting of the Trafalgar Lodge No. 40 U.A.O.D. was held in the lodge room at Wakefield, under the leadership of Ai’eh Druid Bro. W. G. Douglas. There was a very good attendance of members, including visiting brethren from Wellington and Tapawera lodges respectively. During the meeting three now members were initiated to the Ancient Order, also a new member was initiated at the previous meeting. After the initiation of the candidates and other routine business had been disposed of, the Arch Druid (Bro. W. G. Douglas) on behalf of the lodge, made a presentation to Past Arch Sister L. 11. Wilkens, of a beautiful framed Past Arch Diploma, with full Druidic honours of the Order. The Arch Druid, in a few well chosen remarks congratulated Sister Wilkens, on attaining her Past Arch Degree, and on being the first sister of the Trafalgar Lodge to receive it. Sister Wilkens suitably expressed her appreciation and thanks. At the conclusion of the meeting, simper was served, and a pleasant social hour was spent.
