(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 8(17 June. The amount applied for in tenders for £40,C00,C00 Treasury bills was £46,830,000. The maximum amount was allotted in bills at three months. The average rate per cent, was 11s 2.49 d, compared with 10s 5.7 d a week ago.
