The course is heavy after 24 hours’ continuous rain. There is a fair attendance. Results: — Tyro Stakes, of £6O; six furlongs. —1 Darecourt, 8.11. 1: 3 Inveresk. 8.11, 2; 4 Pukeko, 8.11, 3. Scratched: Muggins, Waitohu. Won by a neck, threequarters of a length. Time, 1.16 1-5._ Oringi Handicap, of £80; one mile and a guart-er—3 Bold Jim, 10.5, 1; 2 Confiscation, 9.1, 2; 4 Boudoir, 9.0, 3. All started. Won by half a head, two lengths. Woodville Handicap, of £130; one mile and a quarter.—s Red Rufus, 7.0, 1; 1 Hunting Jay, 7.13, 2; 3 Bonnie Yale, 7.0, 3. Scratched: Speed. Won bv a neck, three-quarters of a length. Time, 2.12.
