The outstanding feature of the first two- rounds of the post section play in the singles was the elimination of Harrison, the Australian crack, and McMaster, champion of champions in the Auckland centre. Livingstone (Onehuhga) by mid-day had a string of seven wins since the tourney Started, the latest victims being E. Jury, the former Dominion champion skip.
