COMMERCIAL FLYING
LICENSE TO EAST COAST AIRWAYS, LTD. (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The first application for a commercid flying license under the Transpou Licensing (Commercial Aircraft) Act of this year was granted by the Transpoit Co-ordination Board to-day to the Eai Coast Airways, Ltd., for a service between Gisborne and Napier or Hasting with de Havilland Dragon two-engineJ machines, capable of carrying ten pas sengers. Applications for a similalicense by Air Travel (New Zealand Limited, on the West Coast is beiig heard.
