BRIEF LIBERTY

TE AWAMUTU, 25th September. This afternoon two inmates of the Waikeria Borstal escaped. They were a Maori, Tau Dixon, and a European, McNaul. A search was quickly instituted, and they enjoyed brief liberty, being recaptured by warders just before dusk.
