AUCKLAND RESIGNATION ACTION BY PRESIDENT (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, 22nd September. The president of tlie Auckland branch of the New Zealand Legion, Mr J. Hislop, lias resigned. “This is not a. time for fantastic ideas. I am interested in tlie policy and not in nebulous proposals, ’ he said. It is understood that there have been other resignations, including that of Mr Bernard Morris, the secretary.
