The Geraldine Racing Club's meeting was concluded on the Orari course in good weather. The track was in bad condition, but the attendance was again satisfactory. Won by half a length; one length. Time, 3 8 Wainui Hack Handicap, of £IOO : six furlongs—l Hunting Go, 8.9 (L. J. Ellis), 1 ; 7 Unseen, 8.6 (P. Powell), 2; 1 Top Coat, 8.6 (P. Brodie), 3. Time, 1.17 4-5. Winchester Trot, of £105; 3.5 class; one mile ancl a half—4 Noble Prince, scr (S. A. Edwards), 1; 7 Sage King, scr (trainer), 2; 5 Adsum, 36yds bhd (own. er), 3, Scratched: Agility, Pretender, Guy Mauritius, Llewellyn’s Pet, Ironside. Won by a neck; three lengths. Time, 2.55 1-5. Stewards’ Stakes Handicap, of £105; six furlongs—l Mobile, 8.12 (B. Brodie) 1; 2 Red Boa, 8.2 (L. J. Ellis), 2; 8 Quietly, 7.3 (A, Leckie), 3. Scratched: Palermo. Won by a length. Time, 1.16 2-5. Champion Hack Handicap, of £105; one mile and a- half—3 Nightform, 7.13, I;‘4 Weatherly, 7.11, 2; Colossian, 8.9, 3. Also started: Sam Smith, Free Air, Sibella, Braw Lad, Doiran. Sun Gem, Milnrow, Silverstep. Won by a neck. Time, 1.51. The totalisator handled £8194 against £764 ( on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £15,314, com. pared with £14,523 last year.
