STOWAWAYS ON MAORI
(By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, 22nd September. Pleading guilty to stowing away on tlie Maori at Lyttelton last night, Alexander Finlayson, aged 21 years, steward, and Henry Graham, aged 21 years, seaman, were fined 30s each, in default three weeks’ imprisonment. The police stated that they came to Wellington hqping to find work.
