JOHN RYMILL’S PLANS
IS ANTARCTICA ONE OR TWO CONTINENTS?

LONDON, 10th September. John Rymill’s three-masted schooner Penola which leaves to-day for Graham Land has taken the bulk of the party supplies for three years. The “News-Chronicle” says it is the most important expedition southward since Shackleton’s, the object being to discovor whether Antarctica is one or two continents. A thousand miles of sledge journey will be mad© behind the Weddell Sea, but they are not attempting to reach the Pole.
