FISHERMAN DROWNED
LOST OVERBOARD AT THE CHATHAMS (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A fisherman. Samuel Nicholson, formerly a seaman in New Zealand coastal vessels, was drowned at the Chatham Islands. Nicholson was lost overboard from a launch which was bringing tho mail from Waitangi to a trawler. Tne boats of tha fishing fleet, assembled in the locality and a burial service was held. PELORUS SOUND FATALITY BLENHEIM, This Day. Albert Morris, aged 32 years, a miner engaged at Mountain Camn. Canvastown, fell from a launch in Ketu bay. Pelorus Sound, and was drowned. The body has not been recovered. Morris came from the Invercargill distinct where both his parents were killed in a motor accident,
