DEPARTURE FOR MARSEILLES (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received sth September, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, 4th September. The Duke of Gloucester, dressed in a grey flannel suit arrived at Hendon by car accompanied by members of his staff. Tlie Rt Hon. J. H. Thomas (Secretary of State for the Dominions), Sir James Parr (High Commissioner for New Zealand) and others farewelled him.
“I hal a lovely crossing” said tlm Duke on arrival at Le Bourget. He informally dined at the British Embassy and entrained for Marseilles, where he joins H.M.S. Sussex.
