RADIO EMERGENCY CORPS

NATIONAL FIELD DAY Tlie New Zealand Radio Emergency Corps will coiidilpt a national field day on Sunday next when all sections will be on duty. The main base stations one rating will be situated at Auckland, Taiirniiga. Hawern. Raotihi, Blenheim, Nelson. Napier. Gisborne, Wellington, Christ church. Dunedin, and Invercargill. The Nelson section will, in addition to the base station, be operating a portable outpost station some distance from the city. Test messages will b" relayed to various parts of New Zealand and by this means tho efficiency of equipment and uncrating ability of the corps will be demonstrated.
