ROAD CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP

(By Telegraph—Press Association) HAWERA, 21st August. More than sixty nominations have been received for the North Island road cycle championship on 29th August. The course, from Hawera will be over a distance of 02 miles. The race, which is being run under the auspices of the Hawera Rambler’s Club includes some of tlie best cyclists in the Dominion. Private advice has been received that Ogperman will arrive at Wellington on 2Stli ; August. He will be a spectator of flic race.
