DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS FIRST CLASS PERFORMANCES (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Targets for the Dominion Championships final under the auspices of the New Zealand Miniature Rifle Association, reveal some first class shooting. The championship and aggregate was won by Ken Lumsden (Sanson), with the fine score of 200 with 20 extra bulls. L. Beattie (Hilton) was runner-up with 10 extra bulls. The D grade aggregate was won by W. Tritt (Sydenham) with a double possible. Ties occurred in the women’s championship and women’s teams matches and these will be shot off.

In B grade four riflemen tied with possibles in match 1 and 13 in match

United Christchurch won tli e teams match. This made their third success this season as they had already ’won both the Tisdall and Winchester Cups. The standard of shooting was very high so much so that 99’s were counted out ’of the prize money in individual matches in A grade and 89’s in B grade, also 197’s in the A grade aggregate and 190’s in the B grade aggregate.
