, ORIGINAL ALLOCATION CURTAILED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 10th August. A conference of the Woolgrowers’ Council and tlie wool selling brokers of Australia to-day gave consideration to tlie quantity of wool to be offered in the 1934-35 season. It was decided that the original allocation of 1,000,000 hales to he offered before Christmas should be curtailed to 1,350,000 and that tlie position again he reviewed at the end of September when if necessary a further reduction will be made iii accordance with the conditions of the market then ruling. It was also decided that the first sale be held at Brisbane on 20th August, as already ’arranged.
