INTOXICATED IN CHARGE OF MOTOR-CAR

COMPANY MANAGER FINRD (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, 9th August. For being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car, Ronald Stevenson Hatrick, company manager,' of Wanganui, was fined £ls, and his license was suspended for six months. Sub-Inspector Roach said that a doctor who examined Hatrick stated that although he was not in a very advanced state of intoxication, he was sufficiently intoxicated for his driving to be . affected. The case was not a serious one of its kind, but it might have been if the accused had been lowed to proceed.
