STRIKE SETTLED
TERMS AGREEABLE TO SEAMEN OFFICIAL STATEMENT ISSUED (By Telegraph—Press Association) WESTPORT, This Day. _ Representatives of the Seamen s Federation met the crews of five vessels held up here for over a week in conference. After a discussion lasting nine hours the following statement was issued to the press: “The strike is settled, with terms agreeable to the seamen. Five ships leave to-day for their respective ports.
