NAZI BUILDING PROGRAMME
ONE THOUSAND NEW TOWNS PRODUCTION OF RAW MATERIALS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 7th Mav, 9.10 a.m.) BERLIN, Oth May. The Nazi building programme, including tlie foundation of one thousand new towns, was announced by Gottfried Feder, •Commissar of Internal Colonisation. Towns with populations to 100,000 are expected to be completed within a generation. The intention is to transfer inhabitants on the fringes of big cities to chosen areas suitable for production of raw materials.
