AUCKLAND, This Day. For the Northland Trotting Club’s Annual Meeting, being held at Epsom, the track is heavy after morning rain. The attendance is good considering that the weather was still showery at the outset.

Whangarei Handicap, of £95; 3.50 class; one mile and a half.—3 Harvest Dillon. 1; 1 Ohinemutu, 2; 2 Young Rodney, 3. All started. Won bv threequarters of a length, two lengths. Times, 3.40 1-5, 3.38 3-5, 3.42 3-5. Dargaville Handicap, of £95; 3.6 class; one mile and a quarter. —1 Kewpie’s King, 1; 4 Aircraft, 2; 8 Proletarian, 3. Scratched: Dainty Lady. Won by one and a half lengths each way. Times, 2.55 2-5, 2.56, 2.57 3-5. Invitation Match Race, of £200; one mile and a quarter.—4 Impromptu, 1 : 2 Red Shadow, 2; 1 Harold Logan, 3. All started. Won by a short neck, half a length. Times, 2.47 2-5, 2.47 3-5, 2.48 1-5. Auburn Lad broke at the start and finished last.

Kawa Kawa Handicap, of £140; 4.38 class; two miles.—4 Free Logan, 1; 2 Smooger, 2; 1 Realty, 3. All started. Won by two lengths, one length. Times, 4.44, 4.39, 4.43 3-5.
