ANNUAL MEETING IN LONDON SIR JAS. PARR SPEAKS (United Proas Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 21st April. Sir James Parr High Commissioner for New Zealand, speaking at the annual meeting of the League of Empire, said New Zealanders look off their bats to Britons for the manner in which they came through the depression. He paid a tribute to the league’s hospitality to the Dominion’s teachers visiting Britain, from which they returned filled with reverence for this historical land.
