MESSAGES IN WARTIME EXPERIMENT BY GERMAN (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) BERLIN, 20th April. Emulating the Australian aborigines' method of finding honey in trees by gumming fluff to tlie bodies oi bees, thus making their homeward flight traceable, a. well-known apiologist, Bernhard Guelder, in. view of sending messages during wartime, lias successfully employed bees to convey messages minutely written on the finest paper attached to their backs. The chance of interception of such messages is less than with carrier pigeons.
