CHINAMAN FINED
(Py Telegraph—Press Association) DUNK!)IN, 21st April. George Wong, a Chinese, was fined £ls in the Police Court to-day by Mr If. W. Bundle, S.M., in default one mouth's imprisonment, for being found in premises in Stratford street without lawful excuse. The police said that the |.remises were being used for Hie smoking of opium. On a charge of permitting the premises to lie used for opium smoking, Joe Chong was remanded till 27tli Ajiril, hail being allowed.
