IN MELBOURNE AIR RACE
NEW ZEALAND ENTRY AN AUCKLAND PROJECT (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND. 21 st April. With the object of financing a New Zealand competitor in the Melbourne Centenary Air Race, a small committee of Auckland business men lias decided to form a limited liability company with a capital of £7500, which it is stated will be sufficient to ’my A machine and finance the flight to Melbourne and then on to New Zealand. Squadron-Leader Ilewett and FlyingOfficer Kay have been nominated as tlie co-pilots.
