Over breakfast that morning, the chums discussed what they could do as the week's good deed. Ted came to the rescue—a little at any rate. He suggested that they should go to Mrs Cook and ask if there was anything they could do for her. So when they had finished their meal they all went to the kitchen. As it happened, Mrs Cook was only too pleased to see them. Che had something very special to be done.
