The importers’ section of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce this mornino passed a resolution protesting against the recent increase 111 telegraphic charges, and decided to forward the resolution to the Importers Federation, Wellington, for action. It was stated by a number ol business men at the meeting that the increased charges had forced them to curtail the use of telegrams.
