Th e Craven Stakes resulted:— Lord Glanely’s Colombo 1 The x\ga Khan’s Osman Pasha 2 Lord Derby’s Pharillon 3 The winner carried top weight and was ridden by the Australian Johnstone. The “News Chronicle’’ declares that Colombo appears to be the strongest claimant for many years for Derby honours. WON IN A CANTER (Received 20th April, 1.50 p.m. LONDON, 19th April. Colombo’s reputation paralysed the wagering on the Craven Stakes, which tic won by four lengths in a canter. He lias already won eight races, yielding £IB,OOO.
