The Wool Industries Research Association claims that it has discovered a new method to ensure the unshrinkability of wool, simultaneously removing th e prickly feeling. The association adds that lustre can be applied to loose scoured wool tops and knitted fabric. The method is being kept a secret for members of the association, which holds the patent rights. The Association has successfully investigated making British printers’ blankets as hard and durable as American, which nt present are preferred'to British.
