COLLEGE ENTERTAINMENT
FINAL PERFORMANCE LAST EVENING LARGE AND DELIGHTED CROWD The final performance of Dio entertainment hy pupils of Nelson College drew another big attendance at the Majestic Theatre last evening. All the items were splendidly performed, and aroused the greatest enthusiasm of the delighted audience. All those responsible for the entertainment are to he congratulated for putting on such an excellent and finished show, which went with a swing from the initial item to the final curtain. The College Orchestra, which was responsible for several excellent selections, comprised:—lst violins, !!. W. Jamieson, A. E. Mitchell, J. J. McKay, C. J. Earle; 2nd violins, F. A. Nathan, T. M. Rage, W. A. Russell. 0. D. Hunt: ■olio, T. Rogers; Hide, T. J. Pitt; clarinets, E. R. Strang, N, V. Rout; cornet, M. R. Abrahams; trombones, W. 11. Bryant, 11. R. Logan; drums, W. IT. fhhbs, J. M. Thorpe; piano, L. 11. Spencer. Mr C. W. Johnson was the conductor. Air G. C. Kirk was the producer; Mr W. 11. Allen was responsible for the scenery; Mr F. H. Allen had charge of the business arrangements; Mr Alexander was wardrobe master; and Mr K. Gibbons stage manager.
