WHEAT CONFERENCE
PLAN FOR INCREASED PRICE (United Press Association—Ry Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) ROME, 10th April. The International Wheat Conference appointed a sub-committee to draft a tentative scheme for an increase in wheat prices. A communique says the expectation that when an agreement was reached world prices would improve has not been realised. On Die other hand prices are lower and in the bar East rice is a higher price than wheat. ESTIMATED PRODUCTION (Received lltli April, 10.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON. 10th April. The Department of Agriculture announces a production of 491,793,000 bushels of winter wheat in 1934 as indicated by conditions on Ist inst.
