As the outcome of a series of heats the Forster Cup, for 21 feet restricted class yachts, was to-day won by the Tasmanian Roya 1 Yacht Club’s Tassie Too. which was sailc-d by W. P. Batt, a member of a well known yachting family of Hobart. Tho Queensland yacht Amy was second.

NEW ZEALAND “Z” CLASS TITLE FIRST RACE~TO WELLINGTON (By Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, 24th January. The first race for the New Zealand “Z” class championship was sailed today in a fresh north-easterly wind over a 9-mile triangular course. Results were : Wellington 1; Kaiapoi 2 ; Invercargill 3. Plimmerton capsized and Ponrua were disqualified through fouling Lyttelton, which withdrew.' Owing to a mishap to their gear Christchurch were half swamped in the last round.
