CHRISTCHURCH, 22nd December. The Rotary Club for its annual street appeal to-day for funds to provide Christmas hampers for needy families, raised £985 9s lOd. The total for the appeal is £1375 from all sources. Last year the total was £1443, but the band concert this year was spoilt by wet weather, and realised only £65, as against £ll3 last year.
