ON LOAN TO AUSTRALIA
ARRIVAL OF DESTROYERS, REPORT OF TROUBLE DENIED (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) \ SYDNEY, 21st December. Five British destroyers on loan to the Australian Navy, Stuart, Watorhen, Vendetta, Vampire, and Voyage, arrived at Sydney to-day, and made an imposin'"- picture in the harbour. 11.M.5. Stuart’s commander, Captain Lilley, R.N., interviewed, denied the report of discontent and insubordination during the voyage. The Vampire and the Vendetta will be placed in reserve for the time being. Their crew's will he absorbed by other ships while the oilier three destroyers remain in full commission.
