MANY DEATHS
CYCLONE IN MADRAS EXTENSIVE DAMAGE REPORTED (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) CALCUTTA, 19th December. One hundred were killed in the cyclone in Madras presidency during the week-er.d. The damage was nearly £BO,OOO. Thousands of cattle perished. A train overturning in a gale near Chidambaram station killed 28. The Italian steamer Felec is now reported safe.
