JAPANESE COMPETITION NEGOTIATIONS IN LONDON British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 20th December. The negotiating committee of the British Cotton and Artificial Silk Industries rnet Japanese cotton industries representatives in London to-day. The following resolutions were passed : Firstly, the Biitish and Japanese delegations are of opinion that the interests of both countries and the industries of both will be best served by .commencing official industrial negotiations as soon as possible ; and secondly, the British dejegation is of opinion that the cotton and artificial silk industries are now so intricately involved with each in the fortunes of the other that contemplated negotiations must embrace artificial silk, yarns and fabrics. »• ~
