FOUR MONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT
ASSAULT ON WIFE (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Alexander James Churton, aged o 3 years, a labourer, who was charged before the Magistrate, Mr Mosley, with assaulting his wife, Betty Churton. so as to cause bodily harm, was sentenced to four months’ imprisonment. He was ordered to find a surety of £SO to keep the peace for twelve months, and a separation order was made with maintenance at 10s weekly.
