NELSON HOMING CLUB
RACE PROM AUCKLAND
The Nelson Homing Club flew their week-end race from. Auckland. The birds were liberated by Mr Spiers at 5 a.in. in good flying weather, arriving home, at 2.20 p.m. Thirty-nine birds were liberated, representing seven lofts. Results were: Mr K. Haase’s No. 141, 1; Mr J. L. Liddle’s No. 32, 2; Mr J. L. Liddle’s No. 43, 3; Mr 11. Simpson’s No. 5,4; Mr J. Black’s No. 303, 5. Mr 11. Simpson’s No. 142 won the nomination race, Mr J. Black’s No. 303 being second.
