INSTRUCTIONS TO SUSPEND EXECUTION (United PreßS Association—By Electr" Telegraph—Copyright) CALCUTTA, 28th November. On the day after a man was hanged for murder at Lahore goal a letter to the gaol superintendent was opened containing instructions to suspend the execution pending an appeal which had been admitted by the I/ivy Council. A local paper asserts that the letter arrived long before the execution, but owing to a mistake it was not delivered until too late.
