TO BE HEI.D THIS WEEK TJie Nelson Horticultural Society will hold its Bulb Show in the Drill Hall on Thursday and Friday next. This show is one of the most pcJpular of the year and us expected to be up to the usual stanclgr.d.The season lias been early and some of tlie varieties usually seen may bp over, but many later flowering sorts will be staged. Entries may be made with. Air A. Robinson up to 5.30 km Tuesday or at Air S. F. Bolt-on’s shop from 7- until 9 o’clock. The schedule is practically on the lines of that of the previous year, and besides the classes for daffodils contains sectionsr.for miscellaneous flowers and decorative exhibits. The Society’s next" show will be held in November and at this the innovation introduced last year will be continued, several classes being provided for needlework and knitting, for which liberal prizes have been offered by various local firms.
