Miss Gaynor and Ayres are the lovers of a romance between a little farm girl and a dashing newspaper reporter, and Miss Filers and Foster are the principals of another affair, said to he as intense as it is unconventional. The action locales are Rogers’ farm home and the grounds of a big state fair. “CHRISTOPHER STRONG,” REGENT, TO-NIGHT A combination of freckles, sex appeal, showmanship and diffidence should he an incongruity, but in Katharine Hepburn, it is not. ‘The vivacious featured player in RKO-Radio Pictures’ “Christopher Strong,” coming to the Regent Theatre to-night with Colin Clive, Billie Burke. Helen Chandler and Ralph horhos in support, thrives on contacts. Katharine Hepburn's appeal is courage. While other children grew up gracefully without attracting undue attention, Katharine, because she wits' sensitive and shy, forced herself into a spotlight. It was an instinct for self-preservation which led her to demand attention, even though she dreaded it, and got it in her success. Iler quick and dazzling stage career is well known. And now, in “Christopher Strong.” Katharine Hepburn plays her second screen role, and has already the leading featured part.
