Both Mr Willis and Mr Lang held opening meetings in Bulli electorate last ni'dit. Mr Willis spoke to a packed Miners’ Hall at Helensburg and was <riveu a. good hearing, while at .Ihirroul 600 people locked the. hall to prevent 1200 outside from forcing their way in. Mr Lang was well received, but whenever .Mi" Willis’s name was mentioned cheers were mingled with jeers.
