FLEET AIR BOMBER

UNSINKABLE MACHINE (United Press Association— Uy Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 10th March. An unsinkable- Fairey bomber, designed by the Fleet arm of the Royal Air Force, was successfully demonstrated at Feltham. Special flotation bags are fitted inside the fusilage. The pilot merely pulls a string and a rubber dinghy emerges on the top of the wing, fully inflated. At the conclusion of the tests a battleship ran over the aeroplane, which remained afloat unharmed.
