CITY CRICKET ASSOCIATION
MEETING. OF DELEGATES - 4 —' & , At a meeting of delegates to the Nelson City Cricket Assoqiation there were present: Messrs R. H. Methyeri, W. Alexander, R. McKay, Coombs, G. Coleman, C. Exton, H. Blincoe, J. MacLean and tlie secretary. The various delegates expressed satisfaction in two Nelson players being selected to play, in the Test > match , against M.C.C. at Christchurch and the secretary was instructed'to convey to « Messrs J. Newman and D. Freeman an expression of the association’s sincere congratulations and best wishes for •« their success. A challenge for the Newman Shield was received from tlie Marlborough Association. It was decided to accept the dates as suggested by the Marlborough Association, 31st March and Ist April. Tlie Marlborough Association extend- ', ed an invitation to the Nelson Junior Representatives to visit Blenheim at Easter, tlie invitation being accepted. It was decided that the match with Tapawera for the K Cup be concluded on Saturday next. The College Relief Workers were granted the use of a wicket at the ; Botanies on Saturday 11th. ' ; ' ji,
