COLLINGWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Collingwood County Council held at noon on 4th March, 1933, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Ist April, 1933, at 10 a.m. in the County Chambers, Collingwood:— COLLINGWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL h SPECIAL ORDER TO RAISE A REPAYMENT LOAN UNDER SECTION 17 OF THE LOCAL BODIES’' LOANS ACT, 1926. WHEREAS the sum of £6OOO, borrowed by the Collingwood County Council and known as the “Bridges and Culverts Loan £6OOO, i 922,” is due and payable on Ist August, 1932: AND WHEREAS the sinking funds in respect of the said loan amount to only £1396, and the sum of £4604 is required to pay off the said loan: NOW therefore the Collingwood County Council in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” hereby resolves by way of special order— First, to borrow the said sum of £4604 for the purpose of paying off the said loan. Second, that the said sum of £4604 shall be repayable on the Ist August, 1948, or such other earlier date as may be determined by the Council. Third, that for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the said loan of £4604, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of § parts of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all the rateable property in the Ridings of Collingwood, Bainham, Rockville, Parapara, Pakawau and Puponga, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan; and be payable yearly on the first day of September in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or such shorter period as may be determined by the Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.
