BUTTER EXPORTS

RESTRICTIONS INEVITABLE (United Preaa Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy rieb t) CANBERRA, 10th March. It is unofficially understood that the Commonwealth Government informed the Dairy Produce Control Board that some restrictions in butter exports were inevitable. The Cabinet sub-committee which is discussing the matter with the Export Board suggests that the restriction should be 4 or 0 per cent., but late tonight no decision was available.
