FIRST DAY AT MASTERTON MASTERTON, This Day. The Masterton Racing Club’s meeting opened in fine weather. The course was in excellent order. Sir Charles Clifford was among the visitors at Flemington yesterday. He was interested in the running of Waterline which was bred on the Clifford estate in New Zealand. He also visited tile private training establishment of Mr Adam Skirving. Sir Charles returns to Sydney to-morrow and embarks on the Wanganella for New Zealand.
