OLD BOYS DEFEAT VICTORY

At the Park on Saturday Old Bovs defeated Victory on the first innings. Victory batting first made 79 mns, Kelley scoring 21. Lord bowled well for Old Boys securing eight wickets for 31 runs in eight overs. Old Boys scored 131 for. three wickets declared. Green played a great stonewall innings for the winners, scoring 48 not out. Cobden was sound for 41. Victory had two wickets down for 89 at stumps. Sexton. and Bellsworthy batting freely. Chief scores were: Victory—Batting: Keiley 21, Sexton 41, Bellswovthv 44, Burdon 14, Exton 11. Bowling : Sexton two for 24. Beard one for 39. Old Boys—Batting: Green 48 not out, Cobden 41, Mcßride 17, Hickson 21 not out. Bowling: Lord eight for 31 and one for 28, Mcßride one for 24, Mills one for 11.
