INDIAN RESERVES
.British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 13th February. Sir Samuel Hoarc, answering a parliamentary question, stated that at the end of January gold held in India’s gold standard and paper currency reserves amounted to about £33,250,000, valued at par. In addition there was a sterling holding of £25,750,000, further strengthening reserves.
